Walkabout Jazz

Hire Dixie Delight, our walkabout (or roaming) jazz band, for Trad, Vintage, and Dixieland Jazz performed unplugged and mobile — ideal for wedding receptions, garden parties, or any social or corporate event.

As well as jazz standards, Dixie Delight can weave in upbeat pop numbers, creating a fully customisable repertoire tailored to your event and your guests.

Dixie Delight performs regularly across York, Harrogate, and the wider Yorkshire region, and travels the length of the UK to spread a bit of jazzy joy wherever it's needed.

Prefer a staged performance instead? Dixie Delight also plays as part of our full Jazz Bands line-up — see Jazz Bands for dinner dances and formal events.

“I will try and think up an excuse to invite you to play again before too long as you were all super, you really lifted our mood and created a great atmosphere, we all loved your playing. With best wishes.”

Nicola Tyler, Harrogate.
